useless initiatives is a performance art collective established in 2017 and composed of Bay Area artists Jillian Crochet, Beatriz Escobar, and River Black. As useless initiatives we create platforms to showcase the work of emerging performance artists, and we host workshops exploring the sensory relationships between objects and bodies.
